Amal Rakibi Gallery draws its energy and identity from cultures of all continents, supporting artists with genuine values, close to those of its founder.

Contemporary art, if Amal Rakibi has made it her profession, is not entirely by chance. When this established legal expert, a born nomad, having made the world her playground, chooses to pursue her two passions, art and law, it is with rigor, creativity, and critical thinking, a noble mission in sight...

In 2015, with a move to Houston, Amal discovers the world of contemporary art. Captivated by the power of artistic expression, she is moved by the artworks. She observes, feels, delights, is moved, and lives Art. She collects passionately. An intimate connection is formed. She paces up and down the galleries of the world, in search of raw, genuine emotions. Her collection grows. So does her knowledge.

 

Soon, Art finds its place on her walls and in her life. Her daily existence is enriched with these infinite nuances. After discovering for 25 years, through her expatriations on all continents, various living environments, she perceives the murmurs of a growing and consuming passion, like an emotional shock. In 2018, she creates Amalgame, the precursor to Amal Rakibi Gallery.

She dreams of a gallery focused on the artistic experience and authenticity of exchanges. A humanistic and unique vision of contemporary art. An inclusive and uninhibite gallery. An inviting space, fostering connections and meaningful interactions, conducive to discovering artworks and artists, often kept away from collectors.

 

Amal decides to welcome art enthusiasts, epicureans, connoisseurs, and curious minds, inviting them into her world, where inspiration and passion abound. In front of these artworks, eyes meet, and tongues loosen. She understands the path to embark upon.

As a curator, Amal meticulously designs the visitors' experience as an unrestricted and immersive journey of discovery.
